Matched Motors, Designed for Variable-Speed Operation
Low speed,
high torque variable-speed operation can result in
exceptional thermal and electrical demands.
To withstand these demands without the need to buy a motor
larger than necessary, or add costly modifications,
Allen-Bradley drives and motors are Control-Matched as a
system to help solve common operating problems:
- Inverter grade motor insulation
systems are designed to meet and exceed NEMA MG1 Part
31.40.4.2 standards for resistance to spikes of 1600
volts with a 0.1 microsecond rise time. In addition,
each Allen-Bradley Control-Matched motor
insulation system is rated for a minimum of 1600 volts
CIV (Rockwell Automation test method) at rated operating
temperature.
- Reduced electrical and acoustic
noise
- Improved dynamic response.
- Cool operating performance.
- Wider torque and speed range.
- Superior service life with a
minimum of maintenance
